Calhoun County Farm Bureau is offering a $1000 scholarship to a sophomore, junior or senior student at a Texas college, university or vocational school. Applicants must be a Farm Bureau member or dependant, be at least one-half time with a 2.0 average and have been a resident of Calhoun County for three years. CHS band volunteers
Calhoun High School Band Booster club is asking for volunteers to work the concession stand during Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday night football games. Calhoun County Community Network has laptops available for checkout. Laptops may be rented for $3 a day or $15 for a seven-day week. Calhoun County Community Network has open computer labs available to the public free of charge. Labs are open from 4 to at least 6 p.m. on Monday through Thursday.
