Bryan T. Thompson, 35, of Austin and formerly of Port Lavaca passed away Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008.
He was born Jan. 10, 1973 in Rochester, Michigan to Miles F. Thompson Jr. and Nancy Boardman Thompson of Port Lavaca. He earned his degree from the Texas Culinary Institute of Austin and worked as a Chef for Emily’s Catering in Austin.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Myles Thompson and wife, Hope of Port Lavaca; niece, Casey Thompson Mulschen of Port Lavaca; grandfather, Miles F. Thompson Sr of Rochester Hills, MI; aunts, Roxanne Fargo of Rochester Hills, MI and Dorothy Frazzini of Charlotte, NC; and cousins, Steven Sebert and wife, Christina of Rochester Hills, MI, Lara Sebert of Rochester Hills, MI, John Frazzini and wife, Christina of Charlotte, NC, Lisa Verma and husband, Mukul of Baton Rouge, LA, and Michael Frazzini and wife, Gena of Seattle, WA.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pauline Thompson and Ruth and John Boardman and aunt, Judy Thompson.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 5-7 p.m. in Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Tim Dent, Vern Lyssy, BB Browning, Myles Thompson Steven Sebert and Earl Hilscher.
Honorary pallbearers are Leo Kainer and William Crowley.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic School in Port Lavaca.
