Greater Tuna

To the editor:

Who’s luckier than me??? That’s what I always say to anyone who will listen...and once again, it held true! I was lucky enough to be in the audience for the last performance of “Greater Tuna’ at our downtown Mainstreet Theater! Congratulations to everyone who had anything to do with this fabulous undertaking! I have been lucky enough to see some wonderful shows (in Port Lavaca and in all the ‘big cities’) and “Greater Tuna” ranked right up there as a really fine production!!

Rusty Henderson and Ronnie Best were so, so great! The dedication it took for them to prepare for this show was evident in every scene. They should go on the road with this one! I can’t wait for ‘A Tuna Christmas’! (Hint, Hint)

Our theater is such a wonderful part of our community...if you haven’t been to a performance in a while...make an extra effort...you will be so glad you did!

I hear that the next performance (coming up in February 2009) will feature our new Calhoun High School theater director, Casey Jones, in the leading role! I’ll be front and center for that one as well!
