Formosa Plastics United Way Golf Tournament distributed proceeds

Formosa, United Way of Calhoun County and United Way of The Crossroads celebrate the presenting of the check for $300,000 from the proceeds of the Formosa Plastics United Way Golf Tournament held Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 3. Each of the respective United Way Agencies received $150,000. This was special in this year of COVID-19 precautions and matched last year’s event with more than 100 teams, over 400 golfers and numerous supporting contractors/vendors. A special thank you goes out to all of the diamond, platinum, gold, silver, bronze, hole sponsors, in-kind donors and all of the volunteers and the golf tournament committee. (Contributed photo)
