Dee Harkey, executive vice president and trust officer at First National Bank, has announced his plans to retire at the end of September.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a BBA degree in accounting, Harkey spent the next 10 years in public practice as a certified public accountant. He made the move to the banking industry in 1985, and after working at a couple of local and regional backs, joined FNB in December 2005.
“I’ve had the privilege of working for some top-notch banks in my career, and First National Bank is at the top of that list,” Harkey stated. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and treasure the many relationships I’ve developed over the years.”
A reception for Harkey is planned for Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the bank lobby.
