Ranger Cemetery, silhouette on tour route

Members of The United Daughters of the Confederacy, William P. Rogers Chapter #44, of Victoria listen as Mary Belle Meitzen speaks about the Bombardment Silhouette, commemorating the town’s shelling by Union forces during the U.S. Civil war. Calhoun County Museum Director George Ann Cormier presented the members, who were from Cuero, Inez, Victoria, Port Lavaca, and Corpus Christi, a program on Calhoun County Civil War Confederate sites.
