Argentina A. Rubio, 90, of Port Lavaca, passed away June 19, 2019. She was born Nov. 24, 1928 in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, to Hilberto and Isabel Aguilar.
She was a member of Betel Assembly of God where she was associated with the Missionary Ladies. She loved to crochet, cook, and help others.
She is survived by her children; Eusebio A. Rubio (Stella), Robert Rubio (Maria), Josephine Gonzales (Manuel III) and Mary T. Rubio; sister, Elva; grandchildren: Robert Rene Rubio, Manuel Gonzales IV, RoseMary T. Arredondo, Benjamin Gonzales, Roland Rubio, Eusebio Alejandro Rubio, Randy Rubio and Marissa Rubio; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vidal H. Rubio; three sisters and two brothers.
Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 21, at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Bethel Assembly of God with Joel Flores officiating. Burial followed in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert Rene Rubio, Manuel Gonzales IV, Roland Rubio, Eusebio Alejandro Rubio, Randy Rubio and Roland Rubio Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Benjamin Gonzales, her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
