Milton Henry Pfeifer

Milton Henry Pfeifer, 92, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019. He was born Sept. 12, 1926 in Nordheim to the late Otto and Matilda Pfeifer.

Milton enjoyed a good game of dominos and spending time with family and friends. He also loved to garden and enjoyed giving away his vegetables. Milton retired from Alcoa April 1, 1987 after 30 years.

Milton is survived by his daughters, Monica Gail Pelech and husband, Michael, and Michelle Ruth Voss and husband, Shane; sons, Mike Pfeifer and wife, Lynn, and Marcus Pfeifer and wife, Pam; sister, Mary Louise Pargman and husband, Gilbert; sisters-in-law, Mickey, Doris and Mary Ann Pfeifer; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Pfeifer; and brothers, Elo, Eddie and Erwin Pfeifer.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 20, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Grace Funeral Chapel in Port Lavaca. A funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 21, at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca. Burial followed at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Joshua Toole, Justin Pfeifer, Matt Pfeifer, Jason Brumfield and Ben Boone.
