Warren J. Herring

Warren J. Herring, 84, of Port Lavaca, passed away at home surrounded by his family Thursday, July 16. He was born Sept. 14, 1935 in Arnaudville, Louisiana.

Warren retired from King Fisher Marine Service where he worked for more than 35 years and served as a vice-president.

He is survived in life by his wife of 59 years, Florence M. Herring, his daughters, Karen Hahn and her husband, Kenneth, and Darla Blevins and her husband, William.  Warren has three grandchildren, granddaughters, Katelyn Harger, her husband, Les, Korynn Bueno and her husband, Francisco, and his grandson, Kollan Blevins. He has three great-grandchildren, Kalysta Harger, Kyrah Hahn-Stringo and Evelyn Maria Bueno.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Evelyn Herring, and brother, Gerald R. Herring.

Funeral arrangements will be held in Louisiana and celebration of life will be held in Port Lavaca at a later date.
