La Salle Monument added to National Register of Historic Places

PHOTO BY CJ VETTER Members of the public gathered around the La Salle Monument Sept. 13 to honor the unveiling of a plaque designating the location as a part of the National Register of Historic Places. The monument, which was suggested to be added by the Calhoun County Historical Commission, is the first site to be added to the register in Calhoun County.
