Port O’Connor School gets top accountability

CONTRIBUTED PHOTO Port O’Connor School received an A from the Texas Academic Performance Report and was one of 13 schools to reach the 98 score and among 144 out of 5,000 schools to reach a score of 95 or higher. Principal Kelly Wehmeyer attributed the success to the “collective efforts of teachers, staff, parents, students, and the community working together.” Wehmeyer is pictured with the staff of the school.
