WHITNEY’S WARRIORS: Businesses, nonprofit build playset for child cancer patient

Several businesses, including Town & Country Appliances, Ferguson, Fastex Glass, All American Awards & Trophies, K&T Construction Company, Associated Builders and Constructors, Weaver & Jacobs Constructors, American Bank, VCS Companies and White Trash Services, teamed up with the nonprofit Roc Solid Foundation to build a new playground for two-year-old Whitney McAfee Friday, Dec. 5. McAfee, a cancer patient, was given the playset free of charge.
