Kirt Lee Bethany
December 10, 1991 – April 30, 2025
Kirt Lee Bethany, age 33, passed away on April 30, 2025, in his home. Though his heart carried physical scars from the day he was born, it was also a heart full of love—especially for his son and his family.
Kirt was born with a hole in his heart and was never expected to live past childhood. Doctors once told him he wouldn't see his 10th birthday, and later, that he may not live past 27. But Kirt defied the odds, living life on his terms. He played hard, loved deeply, and poured his energy into being the best father he could be. His greatest joy was his son, Noah. Kirt was always involved in Noah's sports, schooling, and every step of his life. He was a proud and devoted dad.
Kirt never stopped uplifting others. He was known for saying the kindest things and always expressed how proud he was of his sisters, his son, and every one of his nieces and nephews. His love was loud and generous.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jeana Bethany, and grandparents Ken Woodall, Pat Bethany, and Mildred Bethany.
He is survived by his son, Noah Bethany; father, Paul Bethany; sisters, Robin Bethany and Laura Ruple (Eric Ruple); grandmother, Beth Woodall; nieces and nephews: Ashley, Alyssa, Ethan, and Austin Zambrano; Gracie, Jack, and Zayla Ruple; and great–nephew, Meki Allen. He is also lovingly remembered by his Godparents, Ben and Lydia Pena.
Kirt had just begun taking steps toward healing after the heartbreaking loss of his mother. And while we may never know all the reasons his journey ended when it did, we believe Kirt died of a broken heart. He is no longer suffering. He is at peace now, reunited with his mom, and his heart is finally at rest.
