Carolyn Elizabeth Watkins

Carolyn Elizabeth Jones Watkins, 93, of Victoria, TX passed away on May 23,2025, with her daughter at her side. Carolyn was born on November 18, 1931, in Waynesboro, MS to the late Esther and Turner Jones. She was the 3rd child of six, and grew up in Pascagoula, MS.

She married after high school and traveled with her husband’s military career. She lived all over the US, in England, and int he Marshall Islands.

She settled and spent most of her life in ClearLake City, TX, where she established a distinguished career as an Office Manager with Dixie Chemical.

In 2019, she moved to Port Lavaca to live with herd aughter, and later moved to Victoria, TX in 2021, to take up residence at Vitality Court, where she made great friends and forged a second family.

Her legacy will remain through her daughter Sharon (Alex) Davila; her grandchildren Rhiannon (Tim) Smith, Sara (AndrewTaylor) Davila, Adan( Tiffany) Davila, and Marie (Randy) Sample; and her great-grandchildren Ian and Evelyn Smith, Tyler Taylor, Easton and Asher Davila, and Kylee, Rylan, and Liam Sample.

In addition, she will remain forever in the hearts of many friends and family.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Port Lavaca, TX.
