Lisa Ann Mendoza

Lisa Ann Mendoza, 60, of Port Lavaca, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025. She was born on September 17, 1964, to Jesse and Susie Rodriguez of Port Lavaca.

Lisa was a phlebotomist at Southeast Memorial in Houston and at Memorial Medical Center in Port Lavaca. Prior to being a phlebotomist, Lisa worked at 7 Eleven on Highway 35, Formosa Plastics as a security guard, and a substitute teacher at HJM Elementary for several years.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jesse and Susie Rodriguez; daughter, Micah Mendoza; stepchildren, Amanda Mendoza, Rachel Mendoza, Eric Mendoza (Crystal); sister, Sylvia  Gottschalt (Saul); brothers, Oscar Rodriguez (Christina) and Anthony Rodriguez; significant other, Leocaudio Rubio.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cheno and Fela Rodriguez and Alejos and Susie Guillen; great–grandparents, Lorenzo and Juanita Rodriguez, all of Port Lavaca; her great–grandmother, Petra Solorzano of Mission, Tx.

There will be a private family service.
