Daniel Morales, Sr.

Daniel Morales, Sr., 82 of Port Lavaca, Texas went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2024. Daniel was born February 10, 1942 in Premont, Texas to the late Senon Morales and Adela Quintanilla.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:30 PM at Grace Funeral Chapel in Port Lavaca, Texas. Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Grace Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Morales Cemetery in Long Mott, Texas. Honoring Daniel as pallbearers will be Aaron Lee Ochoa, Joe Daniels, Louis Morales, Jr., Joshua Morales, Daylen Ybarra and Noel Morales. Honorary Pallbearer will be Daniel Alfredo Morales.

Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandpa “PoPo” In his younger years, he enjoyed going dancing with his wife. Daniel enjoyed working on his land and was a farmer until the age of 62. He liked to ride his tractor to the Morales Cemetery where he would clean and cut the grass. He was also a fan of the Washington Redskins and enjoyed watching wrestling. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia Morales; daughters, Rebecca and Amalia Morales; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Esmeralda Ochoa, Mary Helen Galindo (Nasario); sons, Louis Morales, Daniel Morales, Jr. (Kasy); 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
